The Central One CardControl App gives members of Central One Federal Credit Union the ability to actively protect themselves and their Credit Union from unauthorized transaction activity.

How does the CardControl App work? CardControl allows you to place settings and alerts on your credit or debit cards, adding an additional layer of security.

Is the CardControl App secure? The CardControl App can be accessed from your mobile phone using your user name and password or fingerprint. CardControl is regularly tested and updated to ensure it maintains the utmost level of security. Independent security experts are used to validate the security of the CardControl App.

How can I enroll in CardControl?
Download the CardControl App > Register the mobile service to create your User ID and Password > Download your cards to the CardControl Service.

Do I have to be enrolled in the online banking service to use the CardControl App?
You do not. You can use the Central One CardControl App even if you are not enrolled in Central One FCU mobile banking.

Will the CardControl App work on my phone? 
You must have at least 64KB of free memory.
Android OS 4.0 and above or iOS 7.1 and above.

Is there a fee for this service?
There is currently no fee to use Central One CardControl. Your wireless carrier may charge message or data fees for transaction notifications that you receive on your mobile device.


What types of controls can I place on my debit and/or credit card? You can block your card for online purchasing, international purchases, and ATM transactions, set dollar limits, enable or disable your cards, enroll in VISA Checkout, and Visa Travel Notification Service (VTNS). 


Can a joint owner or authorized user set up controls in Central One CardControl?
Joint owners can set controls on their debit or credit cards with Central OneFCU. Authorized users can not set any controls in the CardControl App.


What if I have multiple cards?

You can add multiple cards to the CardControl app. Each card, by default, will have a nickname using the last four digits of your card number. However, you also have the option to create a custom nickname. This nickname will be used to retrieve your card information.


You can scroll between the cards by swiping right to left where the card appears on the app main screen.


How do the alerts work?

You may elect to receive alerts via text, e-mail, or push alerts* on your mobile device.

TheCardControl App allows you to receive real time alerts when specified activity occurs on your card(s). This allows you to immediately identify unauthorized transactions and gives you the ability to temporarily disable your card to avoid additional unauthorized charges.


*Note: Push Alerts are only available to members that have:

1. Android OS 3.0 or above

2. iPhone OS6.0 s/b OS 6.0
