Central One Recognized Nationally for Marketing Excellence

We’re excited to announce that Central One received two Diamond Awards from America’s Credit Unions, a prestigious program recognizing the most effective and innovative marketing campaigns across credit unions nationwide.

This year’s competition set a new record with 1,481 submissions, and 181 organizations from 42 states. In total, 330 awards were distributed, highlighting the outstanding work credit unions are doing to connect with their members and communities.

Our Award-Winning Work 

Central One received Diamond Awards in two categories: 

  • Publications & Content: Website (Additionally recognized as “Best in Category,” earning the highest score within their asset grouping) 
  • Design & Identity: Rebrand/New Corporate Identity 

We’re beyond proud that our refreshed brand and redesigned website have been recognized at the national level.  

Aligning the visual brand with Central One’s member-first, trusted history helps us convey our values more clearly and consistently. Our refreshed website brings that new look to life while making it easier for members to connect with us and find the resources they need. 

A Refresh Made with Our Members in Mind 

“For more than 74 years, Central One has been dedicated to providing an outstanding experience for our members,” shared Devon Lyon, President and CEO of Central One.  

“As our field of membership expands and we welcome more of Central Massachusetts into our family, we saw an opportunity to refresh our visual brand and website to better represent who we are today and deliver a more engaging, member-focused experience. These updates underscore our dedication to our members and the communities we serve. 

Our new shield-inspired logo design reflects the universal belief that Central One protects and strengthens our members’ financial lives. The website refresh creates a more welcoming experience for both members and prospective members, while giving our team greater flexibility to deliver meaningful content.

The Team Behind our Rebrand and Website 

Our rebrand and updated website are the results of months of hard work from Susanne Drugge, Ashley Canty, and Ela Williams from our Marketing department, plus the outstanding support of John LeBlanc, Owen Russell, Jill Rogers, and Christine Bates.  

Their creativity and dedication made these updates possible and helped bring our brand and member experience to life across Central Massachusetts.

2025: An Award-Winning Year 

2025 was an award-winning year for Central One. We were recognized by the Boston Globe, Worcester Telegram & Gazette, American Banker, and now, America’s Credit Unions. The Diamond Awards add to that momentum, reflecting our ongoing commitment to clear, member-focused service and helping our communities thrive. 

We’re honored to be recognized by America’s Credit Unions and excited to continue building on Central One’s growing momentum of award-winning work.
